As parents our goals are to help teach our children compassion, empathy, patience, amongst many other attributes and I believe that volunteering is one way to do so. One of my goals while on Maternity leave this time around is to volunteer with Carter, Sophie, and Finley. While there are so many volunteer opportunities for me to participate in and quite a few that allow children of 12 or older to volunteer, opportunities that allow younger children are few and far between.
Whether you have the ability to commit short term or something more consistent – there is something for everyone!
