Have you heard of Kids Can Catch? It's a FREE fishing program that organizes events in various locations around Alberta, year round. (Yes that means ice fishing too!!!!)
The other day while shopping in Canadian Tire, Kris was excited to find fishing poles for Carter & Sophie! A favorite past-time with his dad this is an activity that Kris has been planning to do with the kids for awhile.
Focused on getting kids hooked on fishing this program will help everyone to learn about hooks, bait, casting, interesting facts on fish conservation, responsible angling, and how to handle fish safely. Its for the whole family – beginners and beyond. What's great about these events is that they are also mostly within day trip distance from around Edmonton.
Registration is required for each event and you can register > here <
