Breakfast, the most important part of the day and my favorite meal of the day. If I had to choose one meal to go out to eat, breakfast is always my first choice. I am definetly my mothers daughter.
As a family we are always on the look out for new favorites, and these 5 places around Edmonton that you must eat breakfast.
Square 1 – #32 993 Fir Street, Sherwood Park 780.400.9247
Serving meat from Irvings farm (so good) be sure to ask for their breakfast special or pancake of the day! Yum! Playing it safe? You won’t be sorry with the Double Double.
De Dutch – 10030-Jasper Ave, Edmonton 587.520.8841
This is the only location in Alberta, and it’s awesome that its right here in Edmonton. They use free run eggs and their own blend of coffee. My go to dish is The Canadian Pannekoeken.
The Loft – 156 South Avenue, Spruce Grove 780.962.0067
I am in love with their cream cheese explosion french toast. My mouth is watering just writing about it. They use the meat from their deli and their Sunday buffet is so. darn. delicious.
Rockin Robyns Diner – 16604-109 Avenue, Edmonton 780.756.5656
A fifties inspired diner that is small and always busy. I have never been disapointed eating breakfast here. Omelettes. Eggs & Bacon. Pancakes. All delicous. Want to be guaranteed a seat? Go early! They also have a FREE jukebox. Love it!!!
Hathaways Diner – 13225-132 Street, Edmonton 780.488.6826
They make a mean Eggs Benedict and you won’t be sorry that you tried them. Available every Saturday. (Closed Sundays)
