Last week for dinner we made one of the best meats pies that I have ever tasted. Complete with a top crust of Gouda.
Best. decision. ever. 
Also, so good that I just had to share it with you. 

This hearty dish is flavourful,easy to make, and freezes great for make ahead meals. So what are you waiting for? You need to make this meat pie with gouda top crust right now! 

What you will need

To freeze

Let the meat pie cool down completely. 
Place the whole pie (including the pie plate) into a freezer bag– make sure you take the air out. 
Put into the freezer sitting right side up. 
Meat pie is good in the freezer for up to 2 months. 


To cook from freezer

Pre heat the oven to 350°
Pull the meat pie from the freezer and let defrost 4-5 hours in the fridge.
Place tin foil over the pie
Cook in oven for 45 mins or until hot throughout.
