Holiday Table
On Sunday I had the pleasure of attending A Festive Night with Cory Christopher presented by Simons. The night was filled with shopping, some delicious treats, and great company. Cory Christopher inspired everyone with simple yet creative tips on how to set your holiday table during this festive season and I am so excited to share it with you!

Tablescaping
Using basic and affordable supplies this holiday display was created before our eyes in less than 10 minutes using the following.
- Vase – You can be creative, a fish bowl was even suggested!
- Cotton batting – While I am sure the suggestions of using a no longer needed stuffed animal was a joke it’s actually pure genius. (I have extras is anyone needs some)
- Trees, deer & houses – Used in Christmas scenes.
Mix & match
Instead of buying a full table setting of holiday dinner wear, purchasing festive salad plates is a good compromise (and more budget friendly). Work around those pieces using textured table cloths and place mats. Don’t be afraid to really mix & match. Use a few different designs that go together well.
Make it personal
A take home gift is a nice touch and it’s all about connecting. It doesn’t have to be generic or extravagant! These branch circles with moss and a clear ornament glued on make a great small vase.
Cory Christopher is hosting several workshops on how to create festive decor over the next few weeks. You can register to learn more about tablescaping, holiday wreathes and more.
