How To Have Awesome Budget-Friendly Family Nights At Home

B How to throw awesome budget friendly family nights

If you are anything like me you are looking for ideas for some budget-friendly family nights. I have compiled a list of activities that we already do or want to try, and hopefully, they also inspire you! Check them out.

Camp Out, Inside!

The kids love camping and in the house it is even better! If your tent fits inside, why not set it up? Get out the blankets and pillows and camp in the living room!

Have A Picnic Inside

A picnic inside is awesome. Get your food together and set it up and eat your meal picnic style!

Make A Video

With iPhones and Smartphones, there are apps for each of the phones to create fun or creative videos and of course TikTok!

Have A Fireplace?

Have a cookout. Roast hot dogs and marshmallows and make it a night. Tell stories and sing songs like you’re sitting around a campfire.

Make Dessert Together

Have a cake mix or another recipe you’ve been wanting to make? Ice cream bars are guaranteed to be a family pleaser! Check out this idea from Coffee with Us 3.

Game night

Pick your favourite game(s) and spend the night playing them! The kid’s favourite game right now is this Fish& Chips game!

Build An Epic Fort

I can remember so many times as a child making forts and sleeping in them at night. Make use of the kitchen chairs, blankets, and sheets and make it as elaborate as possible. Need some inspiration. Check out these fort ideas on Pinterest.

Shadow puppets

All you need is a flashlight, your hands and a wall. Or you can make some puppets like Full Time Kid has done in this video.

Two Words – Dance Party

Turn the music up and dance until you can’t dance anymore! It’s a good way to get some exercise it let’s out stress and most importantly it’s fun!
