Simple and fun games to play at Christmas
If you are looking for games to play at Christmas this year, you have come to the right place! All you need are some basic things and a group of people and you are on your way to having a fun game night!

The Oven Mitt Game
You will need:
- 1 pair of Oven Mitts
- 2 dice
- Bowl or container to roll dice so they don’t fall out
- Gift with several layers of gift wrap
How to play:
- Everyone participating sits in a circle
- Roll the dice and pass clockwise until someone rolls doubles, that person puts on the oven mitts and tries to open the gift until the next person rolls doubles

White Elephant Gift Exchange
What you will need:
- Everyone brings a wrapped gift for a certain amount
- Paper & pen to write the numbers on
How to play:
- Put all of the gifts in the middle
- Write numbers on individuals pieces of paper for each person
- Each person picks a number – #1 goes first and it goes in chronilogical order
- After the first person goes you have the option to open a new gift or steal an already opened one
- Each gift can only be stolen 2 times max
- The last person to go is actually the person who went first

Draw a Christmas picture
You will need:
- 1 piece of paper for each person
- 1 book/clip board per person
- 1 pen/pencil per person
- Gifts for the person(s) with the most points
How to play:
- 1 person tells the group what to draw
- Each person participating places the the book on their head with the paper and draws what they are told to
The person reading tells the group to do the following :
- Draw a house
- Draw a Christmas tree next to the house
- Draw presents under the tree
- Draw bulbs on the Christmas tree
- Draw a window on the house
- Draw a star on the top of the tree
Once done points are awarded for the following:
- 1 point for the house and tree not touching
- 2 points for the presents being under the tree
- 1 point for bulbs actually being on the tree
- 1 point for the window being in the right place
- 1 point for the tree not touching the house
- 2 points for the star being in the right place
The person with the most points wins.

Roll a Snowman
What you need:
- Paper for each person
- Pen/pencil for each person
- 1 Dice
How to play:
- Roll a 1 draw a hat
- Roll a 2 draw a head
- Roll a 3 draw middle of body
- Roll 4 draw bottom of body
- Roll 5 draw the face
- Roll 6 draw arms
The first person to make snowman wins. You have to have certain parts before you can draw other parts. (No face or hat if you haven’t drawn the hat yet, no arms without a middle body, etc..)
