On Christmas Eve Santa get’s the milk and cookies but what do the Reindeer get? Reindeer food that’s what! This is a simple DIY that is fun to make at home or for a group activity. This is also the 2nd activity that I hosted at Bonnie Doon Centre’s Kids Club a few weeks ago and it was a huge hit!
Chances are you probably already have these ingredients at home too (or you can buy them for cheap at the dollar store!)
You will need:
- Oatmeal
- Christmas coloured sprinkles
- Glitter
- Baggies to hold magical Reindeer food
Directions:
- Put in 1/2 cup of oatmeal
- 2 table spoons of Christmas sprinkles
- Couple shakes of glitter
- Mix together
On Christmas Eve sprinkle the reindeer food on the lawn for the reindeer to eat! We have been making this with the kids for a few years now and it is one of their favourite things to make during the holiday season!
