Beef on a Bun is one of those recipes where you either nail it or you don’t. The meat has to be tender and the taste must be bold. This Beef on a Bun recipe is guaranteed to impress and will definitely be a go to for your crockpot meals.
Beef on a Bun recipe
For this recipe we used a 1lb roast.
Create a dry rub for the roast with the following spices, apply the rub and place in a ziploc bag in the fridge over night.
- 1 Tbsp Montreal Steak Spice
- 1 Tbsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Pepper
In the morning put roast in crock pot on low for 8-10 hours with:
- 1 cup of beef broth
After 8-10 hours shred beef with forks, drain liquid, put the crock put on low and add:
- 1 bottle of Kraft thick & spicy BBQ sauce
- 1 1/2 tsp dijon mustard
- 1 1/2 tsp cider vinegar
