11-halloween-things-to-doYou guys it’s the weekend before Halloween, I don’t normally do a ‘things to do this weekend’ post, but honestly there is so much stuff to do that I had to. 


Galaxyland Halloween Trick or Treat Festival October 29th & 30th. 
Trick or Treat for ghoulish goodies, ride the Halloween train and enjoy fun Halloween activities such as face painting and magic. Come in costume or as you are.

Haunted Pumpkin Fest at Prarie Gardens  October 29th & 30th 
Bring the kids for a family-friendly Halloween day out at the farm! Pumpkins galore, petting farm, corn mazes, mud puddles, haunted house and hayrides in the cow pasture! Good ol’ fashioned fun!

Get in the Halloween spirit and take a drive to see the many homes decorated on the Boulevard.

Trunk or Treat – October 29th 
Taking place in Fort Saskatchewan. Wear your costume and come on out to Legacy Park and trunk or treat for treats! $2 admission.

See live Owls – October 29th 
Bring the kids to Wild Birds Unlimited to connect with nature and see some birds up close. Dr Gord Court will be at this location with The Colonel, a rescued Barred Owl, and a Northern Saw-whet Owl.

Check out a Haunted House  – Various days/times
With 9 Haunted Housed to choose from and some only requiring a Food Bank donation for entry, get ready to get your scare on. (Recommended for older kids)

Edmonton Garrison Halloween Carnival – October 29th
The Edmonton Garrison Halloween Carnival is free with a donation to the Edmonton Garrison Chapels Food Bank. Bouncy Castles and Obstacles, Haunted Houses and Ghosts, Candy, Entertainment, and much more. 

Kids Day Out at the Melting Pot – October 30th 
Enjoy a day out with you kids with a 3-course fondue meal and Halloween activities at the Melting Pot. Wear your costume for a chance to win some prizes. This is a registered event. Call 780-465-4347 to register. 

Mommylicious – October 30th
Bouncy House, Face Painting, Mini Photo Sessions, Mascots, Craft Area, Kids Fun Zone, Door Prizes & Shopping. Kids can come dressed in their Halloween costumes and Trick or Treat from vendors too! 

Lost Mummy at the Muttart – October 30th 
Stop by the Muttart Conservatory for a mystifying and mysterious time with Lost Mummy @ the Muttart. Get into the Halloween spirit by dressing up in costume and come down to the Muttart for fun crafts and activities. This event is perfect for young families looking for a less frightful Halloween with plenty of fun!

4 Cats Bootiful Night – October 30th 
Frightfully fun annual family Halloween bash at the Riverbend 4 Cats studio. Join us for art activities & prizes!
Costumes encouraged
