Keeping kids safe on cell phones with the Lif3 Smartchip

If you are a parent you know that your phone is not your own! It’s just a reality that whenever you are out grocery shopping, waiting for an appointment, or driving in the car the kids are probably using your device unless they already have their own.

Lif3 Smartchip While we talk about safeguarding kids from predators, bullying, peer pressure and all of those worries on the Internet what about the health risks associated with actually using the devices?

Cell phones aren’t going anywhere and as they become even more developed there are more opportunities to use them for things in everyday life. Whether it’s watching TV shows, playing games, looking up ‘how-to’ videos or creating their own online personalities, kids are relying on phones. A vast majority of homes don’t even have a landline anymore, making cell phones the only avenue that children use to make phone calls to friends and family.

With increased cell phone use comes increased exposure to cell phone radiation. Because children’s skulls are thinner and their overall size is smaller, their brain tissue is more absorbent making the amount of radiation that they absorb more than adults. Scary stuff! Luckily, there is a product out there to help combat the amount of radiation that is absorbed through cell phones and it’s called the Lif3 Smartchip.

How the Lif3 Smartchip works

Lif3 Smartchip

The Lif3 Smartchip uses an ultra-thin printed circuit board, which is sprayed with thin layers of microwave-absorbing material. Each Lif3 Smartchip is made of an ultra-thin adhesive that is applied to the back of your phone. The chip, when used correctly, helps to absorb and disperse up to 99% of emitted electromagnetic radiation thus directing it away from your (or your child’s) head and body.

Because the thickness is only 0.35mm it’s one of those products that you put on your phone and then forget about because you don’t even remember that it’s there. My cell phone case went on just as it had any other time, and after a week of using my phone with the Lif3 Smartchip, there have not been any issues with reception and many episodes of Paw Patrol have still been watched.

The research

Lif3 Smartchip

The Lif3 Smartchip is a result of over five years of research and development and is currently in its 3rd generation. It has been tested by three different, accredited and independent facilities with studies available on the Lif3 website.

While there has been researching on the exposure to cell phone radiation, Lif3 is committed to helping Canadians continuously get educated about cell phone safety. Whether meeting with Members of Parliament to discuss more specific labelling on phones, encouraging others to continue the conversation about cell phone safety or advocating for more research in this area, Lif3 is involved.

It’s affordable

Available for the most popular cell phones there are different Lif3 Smartchips that are tailored and tested for each device. Priced at $79.99, with free shipping in Canada, they are designed to last the lifetime of your phone. Also, from now until February you can receive a 20% discount off a Lif3 Smartchip when you enter coupon code: YMC2016 at the checkout!

The application process is effortless making this an affordable and practical solution to reduce cell phone radiation exposure.

Our job and responsibility as parents are to advocate and educate so that we can ensure that our children have the healthiest futures that we can give them.
