I am always looking for new recipes that I can make for the kids for snacks and school lunches that are a healthier option that tastes good too. These banana oatmeal muffins are just it and will hit the spot!
Make these delicious, kid-approved banana oatmeal muffins
Ingredients
- 3 bananas
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 tbs spoon of chia seeds
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup oatmeal
- 1/2 cup of toppings (use dark chocolate, blueberries, walnuts, or whatever you think of)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F
- Mix all wet ingredients together in a bowl
- Add dry ingredients and mix together well
- Spoon mix into great muffin tin
- Top with your topping of choice
- Place in the oven and bake for 20 minutes
This recipe yields a dozen regular size muffins and they freeze great for something quick to grab! Best of all the kids give them 2 thumbs up!
