Taking the kids to Sustainival? Here are some things to know.

Sustainival, the world’s first green Carnival is coming to Edmonton June 8th-11th. Powered entirely by green energy this family friendly event is one that you definitely don’t want to miss.

Your guide to taking kids to Sustainival

Buy the unlimited ride all day pass online for $30 – This saves you $15 off the onsite price which is $45. Individual tickets can be purchased $1.25/each booklets of 20 for $23 and booklets of 40 for $45. Rides take anywhere from 3-7 coupons.

The Green Beast Eco Challenge – Available to anyone that purchases a ride all day pass, imagine it as a giant live-action board game where you can spend the day doing Amazing Race style contests to compete for cool prizes. Need I say any more?

It’s free to attend – Unless you’re planning on going on rides there are not any other fee. Checking out the marketplace, entertainment, and educational exhibits are free.

There are tons of kid-friendly activities – Try out a stilt walking workshop, learn about green living through games and play, ride one of the kids ride (passes or tickets required), get your groove on with a live DJ after 7 pm Thursday-Saturday and much more.

Fair food – You had me at Mini Doughnuts, and they’ll be available at Sustainival plus much more delicious fair food. What are you looking forward to most?

With several rides such as Skymaster, the Electric Drift Trike Race Track, as well as other activities for older kids and adults Sustainival brings a unique experience to every person that goes the event.

You can find Sustainival at the Servus Corporate Centre in South Edmonton Common (151 Karl Clark Rd NW, Edmonton, AB) Thurs-Sat 11am-11pm and Sun 11am-6pm. To learn more about Sustainival and to purchase tickets to the event check out their website at www.sustainival.com
