12 Fun, free, and frugal things to do this week around Edmonton with kids

There might only be a few weeks left of summer vacation but there definitely isn’t a shortage of things to do!

Join Amity House at Kildare Park for track & field games, enjoy some snacks, and make new friends.

See Beauty and the Beast (2017) at the St.Albert Drive-In plus check out the many other Outdoor movies happening around Edmonton this week

Go swimming for free at one of the Edmonton outdoor pools

Observe the Solar system at the University of Alberta’s Observatory

Enjoy the many buskers, Kids Fringe activities, performances, and more at the Edmonton Fringe

Take part in Family Nature Nights and learn about Rocks and Fossils at Forest Heights Park

See vehicles of every make and model including antiques, customs, hot rods, exotics and more at Cars & Coffee

See a traditional Blessing of the Boats at Louise McKinney Park for the Edmonton Dragon Boat Festival and watch first time teams compete in their first dragon boat race.

Bring your own LEGO creations from home to display, participate in the fast build competition or free build competition at the first ever LEGO Build Event at Mill Woods Towns Centre
