6 things to do with kids at the Edmonton Fringe Festival Aug 17-27

It’s that time of year! The 36th annual Edmonton Fringe Festival is happening August 17th-27th.

Edmonton Fringe

This year’s theme is A Mid Summernights Fringe and there are many fun things and performances to see and do with the kids!

What to do with the kids at the Edmonton Fringe Festival

Celebrate the opening of the Fringe with Magician Kent Wong, Fringe Fairies, a sneak-peek of some of the performances Aug 17th at 7 pm!

Join the KidsFringe opening Aug 18th at 10 am with a Taekwondo performance by Jeon’s TKD Demonstration Team

Watch Theatre for Young Audiences performances like A Royal Canadian Moose Birthday Party, [email protected], and Foolish, Wise, and Magical.

Take in the Friday Fire Show where you will see a variety of outdoor performers showcase their daring fire tricks at the ATB Outdoor Stage Aug 25th,10:15 pm

Learn some new circus skills, get crafty, check out the tot tent, watch daily interactive performances and more at KidsFringe. Find KidsFringe at the north end of the festival, off Calgary Trail and 85th Avenue. You can check it out:

  • August 18-23 10am-6pm
  • August 24 & 25 10am-7:30pm
  • August 26 & 27 10am-6pm

Watch the various outdoor performance and buskers throughout the festival. These performances are free to watch but they do ‘pass the hat’ after performing so make sure to bring some money to put in those hats!

You can find the Edmonton Fringe Festival at 10330 – 84 Avenue. To stay up to date on whats happening through out the festival follow them on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
