Oh camping how I love you! Last year was epic for camping and we spent many weekends camping at some of our awesome Alberta Parks!
The summer of 2018 will be no different – and actually may include even more camping.
First, it’s important to mention that you can either book online or by calling 1-877-537-2757. If you’re booking online – make sure you have an account set up before booking starts. Regardless of if you are booking by phone or online, you will need a credit card too.
So when can you book your camping? Group sites, comfort camping, and individual sites all have different dates. Get the details below.
Alberta Parks Group Campsites
Group campsites booking open on February 5th at 9:00 am! Campsites can be booked for the whole year and they go fast so make sure you set an alarm!
This year marks 6 years camping with some amazing people and I can’t wait. Last year we camped at Miquelon lake and the cookhouse had all of these plaques from groups that had camped there over the years. We couldn’t leave without making one for us!
Alberta Parks Comfort Camping
Reservations for comfort camping can be made starting on February 12th at 9:00 am for the whole entire camping season! Different locations have different options so whether you’re looking to stay in a cabin, yurt or canvas tent that will determine which location you book. You can see a list of places and how many people they can accommodate here.
Alberta Parks Individual Campsites
Just like the past couple of years, individual campsites at Alberta Parks can only be booked 90 days in advance. This year booking for individual campsites opens on February 20th at staggered times depending on the region. Times are as follows:
- South at 9:00 am
- Kananaskis at 11:00 am
- Central at 1:00 pm
- North at 3:00 pm
We’re still figuring a few campsites that we want to go to this summer, so tell me which ones are your favourite to go to with the family!
