We recently had the chance to stay in new RV Resort sites at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort. If there was any place to choose to spend the last few days of our vacation, this place is it! Surrounded by beautiful mountains and just a couple minutes walk from the hot springs we all had a blast!
RV Resort with Mountain Views
One of the things that we loved about the RV Resort sites is that they are well maintained and offer a good amount of room. Regardless of where your site is you’ll be able to take in those mountain views.
The RV sites are equipped with full hookups with 30 and 50 amp, WIFI is available (and works awesome), and cable tv too giving you the amenities of a hotel in the comfort of your own RV.
Within a few minutes walk, you have access to the hot springs, the on-site heated pool, family activities, and family-friendly restaurants.
Spruce Grove Riverside Campground is also a few minutes drive away with full & partial hookups, and some great tenting places too. Amenities there include a campground store with snacks and groceries, on-site heated pool, WIFI in some locations and more!
Where to Eat
There are a few places that you can eat within the resort and one of them is Antlers at the lodge, which is where we enjoyed dinner.
The food was delicious with generous portions and the kids (who are connoisseurs of grilled cheese sandwiches) definitely weren’t disappointed either. With a full menu with a good selection, it was also nice to see that prices are very affordable.
You can see the full list of dining options at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort here.
Activities Fairmont Hot Springs Resort
We had the chance to check out their newly renovated mini-golf course located at Base Camp which also offers an activity guide for regularly organized crafts, treasure hunts and bingo nights. A family pass for Base Camp which includes activities and admission to the hot springs is just $79!
Other activities available at the resort include zip lining, golfing, hiking, horseback riding, and even full and half-day kids day camps!
Whether you’re visiting in the Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter there isn’t a shortage of activities and experiences and you can see the full list for each season here.
If you’re looking for help to book activities at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort or other adventures outside of the resort there is a dedicated team of Activity Experts to assist you!
Hot Springs
Fairmont Hot Springs Resort heats their hot springs with natural fresh mineral water which is odourless (aka no sulphur smell) A fun fact that I also learnt was that during the summer months, the pool is also emptied every night and refilled for the next day.
One of the cool things that Fairmont Hot Springs Resort has started to offer in the summer months is aqua aerobic on certain weekday mornings and they also bring in water toys for kids from 10am-12pm. Being the last swim before heading out, the 2 hours spent playing on the water toys was a great way to tire them out for the trip back home.
Renovations have also been made to the grass area that surround the hot springs to include lounge chairs, more green space to set up your own chairs or towels, cabanas which can be rented, and lawn games.
Even More Upgrades
Fairmont Hot Spring Resort has made $5 million in upgrades which include new cabins that can be rented year round and come equipped with a full kitchen, fireplace, patio, BBQ. Other areas that have had renovations include guest bathrooms, King rooms, as well as their renovated pool area and to all of their restaurants!
We had an amazing time being hosted at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort and can’t wait to go back again! To get more information about staying at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort or book your stay check out www.fairmonthotsprings.com
