Santa’s Wonderland at Cabella’s – Until Dec 24th
Stop by Cabela’s for Santa’s Wonderland – a magical place for the whole family. Pose for a free 4×6 photo with Santa, plus check out the other great photo packages available to purchase. Then head over to the free crafts and activities table for fun Christmas keepsakes such as cookie decorating, making your own cookie platter, felt snowmen and more!

Milk & Cookies with Santa – Dec 7th, 8th, 14th & 15th
Come to the Fort Saskatchewan Historical Society and enjoy some milk and cookies while Santa reads you a story! Taking place over 2 weeks, there are various times to choose from.

Our annual Santa Event, stop in for a free professional photo and a free gift for the kids! Also accepting food donations for the food bank & toys for Santa’s Anonymous.

Check out the CP Holiday Train – Dec 5th & 6th
The Canadian Pacific (CP) Holiday Train will soon set out once again to entertain hundreds of thousands of people, celebrating 21 years of collecting food and raising funds for food banks across North America.
Where: While the CP Holiday Train isn’t stopping in Edmonton this year it is stopping in a few places nearby
Christmas in the County – Dec 7th
Come on out to Colchester Community League to see Santa and all his helpers at our winter fair. Crafts, Hand made gifts and much more will be available at this year’s event!

Pancakes with Santa – Dec 7th
Santa joins us for pictures, crafts, music and of course pancakes with toppings. Free with membership or $2/person without. Registration required
Jingle All The Way! – Dec 7th
Enjoy hayrides (first come, first serve), sing your favourite holiday songs, and other holiday merriment. Don’t forget to bring cash donations for some hot chocolate too! While you’re there check out the amazing holiday shopping happening all around the centre, such as cozy jammies from Cloud Nine Pajamas, sparkling jewelry from Lola’s Fashions, or your favourite games from Mastermind Toys, and more!

Oak Hills Winter Family Fun Festival – Dec 7th
Join Oak Hills Community League for some winter fun! Outdoor winter games & activities, food, sleigh rides, music & entertainment, pictures with Santa, cultural celebrations, indoor fun activities & bouncy castles! We hope to see you and your friends/family there.

Bright Lights Christmas Festival – Dec 7th
Ellerslie’s annual Christmas festival! This event is free of charge, and is loads of fun for all ages! Come for the food, music, entertainment, crafts and activities for all; including the much loved horse-drawn wagon ride around the property!

Winter in Little Italy – Dec 8th
Tour Edmonton’s Little Italy and Church Street on our FREE Horse-Drawn Carriage Tours! With stops at Gems like the Italian Centre Shop, Zocalo, Mint Health and Drugs, and Studio 96 (with hosts from the McCauley Community League). We’ve got blankets, hot chocolate, roasted chestnuts, and horses! You just bring you.

12 Streets of Christmas 2019 – Dec 8th
Come enjoy the festive spirit of Graybar. On Dec 8 at 4:30 pm, the streets of Graybriar will be lit with some beautiful displays of Christmas lights. Come have a coffee or a hot chocolate while you drive through.
It’s free, we just ask for a small donation to fill Santa’s belly for the local food bank. Hope to see you then.
Holiday Magic at City Hall – Until Dec 6th
Ring in the holiday season at City Hall with choral and handbell performances by elementary and junior high school classes from across Edmonton daily, 11:00 am-1:30 pm.

Skate With Santa – Dec 8th
As a part of our 12 Days of Giving this Christmas Season, we would like to invite you and your family to Skate With Santa at the TransAlta Tri Leisure Centre North Ice. It will be a traditional skate with Christmas music and a visit from Santa!! All children must wear helmets and have a supervising guardian ON the ice with them at all times.

WCL Children’s Christmas Party – Dec 8th
The annual WCL Children’s Christmas Party will take place on Sunday, December 8 from 12-2 pm! Pre-registration is not required. All kids are welcome, however, this event is targeted to kids 10 years of age and under. We will have a pizza lunch, a magician, and a visit from Santa himself!

Gingerbread Night – Dec 11th
You’re invited to this year’s Gingerbread Night! Come and decorate a Gingerbread house! Build simple or get creative and build an architectural masterpiece! Please bring candy, cereal, or another nut-free edible decoration to share with other families. We’ll provide the icing. Drop-in with your family or stay the whole time.

DIY Holiday Ornaments – Dec 12th
Join the Edmonton Reuse Centre for the last free drop-in crafting session of 2019. We’ll be creating festive ornaments out of everyday reusable items. No registration required drop-in between 5:30-7:30 pm. Ages 6 years and older recommended. Children must be supervised at all times by an adult. Plus, take a look around the store to find other ways to upcycle various materials or stock up on other supplies. Only $5 for up to 25kg.

Car-Free Candy Cane Lane – Dec 12th
For the first time ever, take in the bright lights and holiday spirit of Candy Cane Lane exclusively on foot or bicycle. Bundle up and stroll down the historic lane, where there will be activities and treats for all. Brought to you by YEG Candy Cane Lane in partnership with Paths for People.The route will be open to folks walking, rolling, cycling or cross-country skiing with the traditional sleigh rides running as well. All other nights are open to motor vehicles. There will be a Park-n-Ride during the event.

Hay Rides & Santa Photos – Dec 14th
The Marketplace at Callingwood invites you to bring the family to meet Santa Claus! Get your photo taken with him and get it printed instantly.* Then hop on a FREE horse-drawn hayride around the parking lot (pick up point is in front of the Professional Centre doors.) We will also have a colouring table and crafts for kids to do while they wait! Please bring your donation of non-perishable food for Edmonton’s Food Bank. *Photos pricing starts at $19 for 5×7 print.

TCL Holiday Spectacular – Dec 14th
The TCL Holiday Spectacular is back for another year! We will have free photos with Santa, crafts for kids, cookie decorating and many more details to follow! We also plan to do a prize pack draw so bring $5 to buy some tickets to help support the Terwillegar Community League!

Kids Christmas Theatre – Dec 14th
This free kids Theatre event is great for kids ages 3-10, their families and caregivers. Songs, Adventures, and Fun. Attendees are entered into a raffle for a holiday-themed gift basket. Approx running time is 45 minutes followed by gingerbread decorating. Food Bank donations will be accepted at the door.

Skate with Santa – Dec 14th
Our annual Skate with Santa event! Join us for some Hot Cocoa and get out on the ice with Jolly St. Nick! There are extra skates available at the hall on a first-come-first-served basis.

Londonderry Mall Kids Play – Dec 19th
Come to the mall between 9-11 am for a morning of Christmas themed activities. Santa and Mrs. Clause will be there to read stories and answer any questions your kids may have about the North Pole. Kids will also be able to make an ornament to take home.

Build your Own Christmas Stuffie – Dec 21st
