With Edmonton Green Shack programs cancelled this summer, Edmonton Community Leagues have announced that they will be holding free drop-in park play programs at 12 community leagues across Edmonton.
Edmonton Community Leagues Summer Programs
From July 13- August 27th, children and youth 8-12 years can access the drop-in programs and enjoy activities such as sports, games, arts and crafts. Each of the community leagues that are participating will have leaders to facilitate activities which will occur twice a day, Monday to Thursday.
The current schedule for the Edmonton Community Leagues park play programs is as follows:
Morning – 9:30 am-11:30am
- Lewis Estates – 924 Picard Drive
- Westmount – 10978 127 St
- Strathcona – 10139 87 Ave
- Kenilworth – 7104 87 Ave
- Griesbach – 304 Griesbach School Road
Afternoon – 1:30pm-3:30pm
- Summerlea – 170th Street and 95th Avenue
- Canora – 10425 152 St
- Millhurst – 5811 19a Ave
- Capilano – 10810 54 St
- Fraser – 14720 21 St
- Brookview – 280 Bulyea Rd NW
Program leaders will be collecting participant information as they drop in which will include name and emergency contact as well as a short health screening. A maximum of 25 participants can participate at a time.
