Margaret Falls – Herald Provincial Park, BC
Perfect for families, the trek to get to Margaret Falls isn’t really a trek as much as it is about a 15-minute leisurely walk through a rock canyon. Filled with hundreds of years old fallen Cedar trees, a few bridges, a trail-side stream and some caved overhangs there’s so much to explore.
The trails which just recently opened due to flooding in 2017 are appropriately wide enough and smooth to make this an accessible trail as well.

Once you get to Herald Provincial Park the parking lot is on the left side just off the main road and across from the Herald Provincial Park campground. There is a small parking lot for you to park in, and the path will take you to trail. It will take you past the outhouse, along a path on the road and then on the right side of the stream you will see the trail.
If the parking lot is full you can also park in the day-use area across the street, do not park on the side of the road.
