Firefly Theatre & Circus is hosting their Bread & Circus fundraiser this Friday, April 30th. As a fun family activity, this unique event will take place from 6 pm-8:30 pm.
Firefly Theatre & Circus Fundraiser
During the 2.5 hour event, attendees will learn how to make Fougasse Bread with chefs from Get Cooking, and while the yeast is rising and the bread is baking, you will enjoy performances of circus acts and live-streamed music.
Performances include circus artists that have appeared on stage with Firefly Theatre & Circus from all over the world and include Kristi Wade (Australia), Kadri Hansen (Estonia), Billy Kidd (UK), Mackenzie Baert (Greece), Ross Travis (USA), Martin Varallo (Quebec), Eliza Lance (Quebec), and Patrick Chan (Calgary).
There are also several local Edmonton artists who will be performing as well which include Marla Albiston, Normand Boulé, Lyne Gosselin and Stephanie Gruson. Edmonton’s Le Fuzz and Rabbit Three will also accompany the artists.
How To Purchase Tickets
Tickets to this event are $100/per household and can be purchased online until noon on Thursday, April 29th. Each ticket includes the Fougasse bread-making kit that will be delivered right to your door.
