Vision board
This week Kris and I are each working on a vision board for 2016. If you haven’t heard of a vision board, the Coles notes version is that it’s a physical board with pictures and key positive words. The stuff that you put on there is stuff that you want to accomplish and attract in your life. This year some of my main themes on my Vision Board are health, activity, and commitment.
With 3 kids 5 and under I have to admit there have been many times where getting some exercise has made it’s way to the bottom of my list and was left there.. Unfortunately I think my next doctors visit will confirm what I have been feeling for awhile now, Prediabetes. I knew it was a possibility, especially with having Gestational Diabetes with each of my 3 pregnancies, but it’s also one of my greatest fears.
Now more than ever the commitment to living healthy is important because it’s more than a diagnosis. It’s something that can affect so many things down the road. The good thing though is with evaluating and planning to eat healthier and my commitment to working out at GoodLife Fitness on a more consistent basis I can work hard and turn this around, and I will.
The entire Vision Board will be finished after New Years and you will definitely get to see what it’s all about. But the commitment to my health starts today.
