It’s called an Android TV Box and it’s what could help you never have to pay for cable again. Similar to an Apple TV the Android TV Box can be loaded with software so it can access unlimited tv shows and movies. Current tv shows and movies.
So how does this magic happen exactly? Well, the TV Box that has streaming software on it streams these shows and movies from various websites. No fees, no commercials, and no downloading. This however, is where it becomes a little ‘right vs. wrongish’…. While you’re not illegally downloading something, you are streaming. And while streaming is not illegal in Canada (yet) you also aren’t always accessing stuff that should be out yet, or content that is meant to actually be free.
One company that sells the Android TV Box in Canada, has them retailing starting at $88 and goes up from there. They come preloaded with software for your viewing pleasure. There are some things that are different then say Netflix or Apple TV. Not all links will work so you may have to spend some time looking (and clicking) for what you want to watch.There is no guarantee for how long each link will work for (here today, gone tomorrow). And lastly, it could become illegal to stream in Canada at some point making this very product illegal.
