We have been watching tons of classic movies over the last month and Annie has been on that list! A favourite to watch, the kids and I love singing along to It’s the Hard Knock Life & Tomorrow. Imagine how excited we all were when we heard that Broadway Across Canada is bringing Annie to the Jubilee Auditorium April 30th-May 1st!
It’s another great story line that is loved by many. You will watch as Orphan Annie ends up spending a few days in the luxurious home of Oliver Warbucks (with her dog Sandy). Annie wins the heart Mr. Warbucks and all of his staff and when he offers to adopt Annie she asks for his help to find her birth parents. As a ploy to get the money offered as a reward Miss Hannigan (who runs the orphanage where Annie lives) gets her brother and another accomplice to pose as her parents. It all has a happy ending though and Annie lives happily ever after with Mr. Warbucks and of course Sandy too. Now that sounds like a great show to watch live doesn’t it?
