Going to the theatre on a budget? Yes, it’s possible! Servus Credit Union has partnered with the Citadel Theatre to offer Servus Pay What You Can Sundays.
How Pay What You Can Sundays works:
- Tickets for the performance go on sale at 3:00pm for the evenings performance starting at 7:30pm.
- Depending on the show people have been known to start lining up as early as noon.
- Each person that you are buying a ticket for must be present at the time of purchase and tickets are sold on a first come serve basis.
- There is no minimum price set for Pay What You Can Sundays however, the Citadel Theatre suggests $5-$20/ticket.
Pay What You Can Sundays Performances
There are two performances left for the Pay What You Can Sundays:
- Other Desert Cities – April 10, 2016 (Suitable for ages 15+)
Polly and Lyman Wyeth, wealthy and politically prominent Republicans, are hosting their family for Christmas at their Palm Springs home. Estranged daughter Brooke rejoins the family after a six year absence to announce she’s about to publish a memoir that will reveal a dark family secret. Let the battle begin!
- West Side Story – April 24, 2016 (Suitable for ages 12+)
Inspired by Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, West Side Story is one of the greatest musicals of the 20th century – a love story set on opposite sides of a turf war between rival street gangs. Includes such popular songs as Maria, I Feel Pretty, Tonight, America and Somewhere.
