I’m sorry that I said butt face

I'm sorry that I said butt face
As I was picking Carter up from school today, he had the look of guilt on his face right when I spotted him. “Mom I said a bad word today” upset and worried that he was going to get into trouble. Seriously this kid is not a good liar…at all.

I asked him what he said and he didn’t want to tell me. Had he gotten in trouble from a teacher? Nope! No one actually heard him say it except for his friend. Did he say it to someone? Nope just him and a friend saying it out loud..kids being kids.

Thinking that it was going to be an F bomb or something in that ‘class’ I braced my self and was making a mental note to make more of an effort to not swear.. and then he said it

‘Butt face okay! I said butt face’

Trying to hide my urge to burst out laughing I reassured him that he wasn’t in trouble and asked him not to say that word..or anything else that he thinks is a swear word. But really I am still laughing.. and silently happy dancing that my sometimes too many F bomb drops haven’t rubbed off… yet..
