Located 20 minutes outside of West Edmonton (3-51310 Range Road 261, Spruce Grove) is Big Rock Berry Farm, a family friendly U-Pick.
Nothing beats fresh fruit and veggies
In their second year of being open they have strawberries ready to be picked, raspberries following soon behind, as well a pre-picked rhubarb, kale, and beets.
Kids are welcome at Big Rock Berry Farm
With a young family themselves (Amber just had twin boys this week) they have made their U-Pick family friendly. Down by one of the strawberry fields is a play area with a sand box and other toys. There are also 2 friendly chickens that you might see wandering around as well as a their dog and cat.
Hours + payment
Big Rocky Berry Farm is open on weekends, and if there is fruit to be picked you can book an appointment to U-pick during the week as well.
U-pick Strawberries are $4/lb and pre-picked Rhubarb, Kale, and Beets are $3/bundle or $5/two bundles. Methods of payment accepted are Cash, Mastercard, Visa, and American Express.
