Little Monster’s Swap Meet is one of my favourite ‘Outgrown it Sales’ to shop. Taking place on Saturday September 24th 10am-3pm at the Tri-Leisure Center in Spruce Grove you definitely don’t want to miss this sale.
There’s always a great selection
With 2 indoor soccer fields filled with new + gently used items there is a good mix of private and business vendors. You can easily walk out of this sale with clothes for the whole season, toys, and more for a fraction of the price.
Get there early
The sale begins at 10am and people generally start lining up for the sale around 9am. In order to get the best deals you want to make sure that you’re there right for the opening. Once the doors open it takes about 15 minutes for you to get to the front!
Little Monster’s Swap Meet Grab Bags
The first 500 people in line receive a grab bag that is filled with coupons and advertisements specific to the sale as well as other local businesses. They are handed out while you wait in line for the sale to start so you can spend your time waiting in line perusing the awesome things included in the Grab Bags.
Bring cash
Admission to the sale is cash only and is $5 10am-12pm, $2 12pm-2pm, + free 2pm-3pm. There is an ATM on site however; they run out of cash fairly quick. With a lot of vendors being cash only, bringing cash in the form of change and $5/$10 bills is a good idea.
Bring a couple of extra bags
Many vendors don’t have bags for you to carry your purchases around in. If you have a grab bag you can use that however, I’ve often filled a couple of bags with all of my purchases.
