City of Edmonton – Dec 27th-30th & Jan 2nd-6th

For kids ages 6-12yrs, choose from a variety of options. Be a Jr Zoo Keeper, Jr Ranger, experience Dino-mania or register for one of the sports/theme camps.

YMCA – Dec 27th-30th
8:30am-4:30pm
Camps are available for kids 4-12yrs at Castle Downs, Willian Lutsky, and YMCA welcome village. Kids will enjoy a day full of fun, games, and crafts.
Cost Members $132/child, non-members $148/child
Edmonton Ski Club – Dec 27th-30th & Jan 2nd-6th
10:00am-4:00pm
Available for kids ages 6-18yrs. Your child will spend the day learning how to ski or snowboard in a fun and supportive environment.
Cost: Prices range from $188-$435 depending on if equipment needs to be rented. Meal plans also available for $7.50/day.

Two camps for ages 5-9yrs & 10yrs and up.Climb, learn knots, play games, crafts and more. No climbing experience required.

Edmonton Valley Zoo – Jan 3rd-6th
9:00am-4:00pm
For ages 6-10yrs, each day will feature different zookeeper challenges, from preparing food to cleaning enclosures. Campers will help care for a small animal in the day camp classroom and make special wintery treats for some of our animal residents. The week will end with a Junior Zookeeper celebration with reindeer games and hot chocolate.

Four classes available for ages 3-5yrs + 6-10yrs. Decorate a penguin mag, make a snow queen using silk screening techniques, collages, & more, or a winter inspired picture.

Ortona Gymnastics – Jan 2nd-6th
Half days for kids 3-5yrs and full days for 6-9yrs & 9-13yrs.
Half day kids will be introduced to the WOW Gym where they will be exposed to jumping, skipping, rolling, landing, hanging, springing, swinging and mores. Crafts, drawing as well as playing outside will be some of the other activities. Full day kids can expect a full day of music, gymnastics, games and fun!
Cost: $150/child for half days, $200/child for full days plus membership

For animal lovers ages 5-12yrs. The Edmonton Humane Society Education Department is holding day camps during Winter Break where students will spend time with animals and learn about training and behaviour, veterinary work, animal enrichment, what goes on at the EHS, and more!

Alberta Art Gallery – Dec 27th-30th & Jan 3rd-6th

There are two camps to choose from. Winter City Art Adventures where you can discover what is unique about Edmonton in our favourite season and The Great Art Escape a fun-filled week of exploration and escapades in current exhibitions, in the studio and on location at the Muttart Conservatory.

Telus World of Science – Jan 3rd-6th

Three different classes for different age groups. Kids 6-7yrs can become a Jr. Scientists through an introduction to Chemistry, Biology, Engineering and Math, 8-9yrs will learn all about Science Wizardry and become potion masters + 10-12yrs can take the Sci-Bot challenge and is for campers who can’t leave a problem unsolved.
