Admission for Alberta Art Gallery now free for everyone under 18

Starting today the Alberta Art Gallery is now free for kids and youth under 18 all the time, making this an affordable activity for families looking for something to do around Edmonton. 

Admission will also be free for anyone registered as a student at any Alberta post-secondary institutions, regardless of age and regular admission is just $12.50 for adults.  

Alberta Art Gallery Programs

This new admission policy is being funded by the City of Edmonton over the next 2 years and other programs with reduced admission will also be taking place over the next few months. 

Along with the exhibits, the Alberta Art Gallery currently offers art classes for kids, day camps during school breaks, and other fun programs like Tours for Tots every Wednesday and includes gallery adventures, art making, storytelling and more!

You can find the Alberta Art Gallery at 2 Sir Winston Churchill Square and the hours of operation are: 

Tuesday: 11 am–5 pm
Wednesday & Thursday: 11 am–8 pm
Friday: 11 am–5 pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10 am–5 pm
