There are a few things that mean summer to me and What the Truck?! events are definitely on that list!
Whether you’re going with a group of friends, having a date night, or going with the family these are some tips to make sure that your What the Truck?! experience is awesome!
Tips for going to What the Truck?!
If you’re planning to attend it’s a good idea to RSVP (if you can). It gives the Food Truck vendors a better idea of what to prepare for.
What the Truck?! is a family-friendly event, so bring the kids!
*Tip – Bring some drinks and snacks for the kids. The wait can be long and it helps to avoid the hangry.
What the Truck?! runs smoothly because of its awesome volunteers (among many other things), and their looking for people to volunteer.
Make sure you have cash for all of your yummy finds!
Bring a blanket or chairs if you want to sit. Seating and tables aren’t guaranteed to be available! (Costco has some great and affordable picnic blankets)
Menu items will be posted in the next couple of weeks. The most popular menu items go fast, get there early to get dibs.
If there are a few places you want to grab food from and you’re going with a group divide and conquer!
What the Truck! dates 2017
Sunday, May 14th – 12:00pm-7:00pm
Taking place at Northlands, just outside the Expo Centre, you will find food, music, and family-friendly beer gardens! Admission and parking are free!
