With summer fast approaching Footie Camp is a great option for kids 4-12 yrs old who love to play soccer.
Based out of the Crestwood Curling Rink (14317 96 Avenue) Footie Camp offers full day week-long (9am-5pm) soccer based summer camps starting July 3rd to August 11th that run rain or shine.
The coaches
Staffed with NCCP qualified coaches as well as celebrity coaches, they all have considerable experience coaching kids and know a thing or two about the game that’s for sure.
All coaches are also certified in first-aid, have a clear vulnerable-sector and criminal record check and run on an 8:1 child to coach ratio.
From beginner to advanced
All skill levels are welcome to register. At the beginning of the week, campers are evaluated and put into a skill group that is based on their age and skill level giving your child the best summer camp experience.
The days will include fun skill-building stations, learning the principles of soccer, learning new moves and of course plenty of chances to try out everything they’ve learned throughout the week.
Footie Camp gives back
The great thing about Footie Camp is that they also fundraise all year long to give children who otherwise wouldn’t be able to attend summer camp the chance to attend through their Free Footie program. Along with that every registration also funds 2 children to attend camp. That’s total of 1,300 children a year! How awesome it that?
The cost to attend a week of camp is $295 with an option to add healthy lunches for the week for $35.
