Do you have a kid 8-18 years that has a passion for flying? You’re going to want to register them to fly for free at the 2017 Young Eagles Rally on August 26th.
What can kids expect?
At the beginning, the pilots will explain what you will see and do during the flight which may include explaining how airplanes work, looking at an aeronautical chart (or map), and describing the interior of the airplane, including the instrument panel.
Kids will spend about 15-20 minutes in the air and follow the basic steps in the flight pattern and experience the awesome feeling of flight!
Each Young Eagles pilot is certificated with the Federal Aviation Administration or Transport Canada. Flights are conducted according to federal regulations and no aerobatic maneuvers will be performed.
Young Eagles Rally flight registration
There are a few different flight times to choose from starting at 9:00am. Spots are limited so make sure that you register today. Once you register a boarding pass will be emailed to you, make sure that you bring this with you!
The 2017 Young Eagles Rally will take place at the Villeneuve Airport, all Flights will be from the marked airport hangar #44.
