Grab your hot cocoa because there are several Hay Rides (or sleigh rides) taking place around Edmonton + area. With several free and paid options available this is just another experience that makes for a great holiday tradition!

Fir Ever Green Tree Farm – December 2nd, 3rd, 9th + 10
Enjoy a cup of hot cocoa before going on a hay ride! Cost is $5/person. While your there cut down your own Christmas tree too!

Horse Power Hayrides – Weekends until January 6th 
Book your horse power hayride and see Magic of Lights which includes beautiful light displays, animations, and an awesome light tunnel. Cost is $20/person and kids 2 and under are free when sitting on laps. 

Sleigh ride shuttle in Old Strathcona – Dates TBA
Check out the shops at Old Strathcona and Whyte Ave, catch the sleigh (by donation) to get from one destination to another! You may see Santa walking around too!

Winter in Little Italy – 3rd & 10th
Tour Little Italy on our FREE Horse Drawn Carriage. Roast Chestnuts at the Italian Center, browse unique gift ideas at Zocalo, and take in the European inspired Architecture on Church Street!
Hop aboard at the Italian Center Shop, Zocalo, or one of the many participating Churches on 96th!

Country Christmas at Greenland Garden – December 3rd
Join Greenland for an afternoon of kids crafts, carols, hay rides, marshmallow roasting, and cookie decorating. All activities are by donation of a $2 minimum

Candy Cane Lane – Weekends starting December 8th
Cost is $17/person except for infants under 24 months sitting on a lap that are free.The sfaceleigh rides are 45-60 minutes and leave from, and return to, St Andrew’s United Church located at 9915 148 Street NW.

A Prairie Christmas – December 9th & 10th
Get cozy and go for a tractor drawn hay ride! Hay rides are included with admission along with many other fun family activities. Cost for a family is $12.40/person.

Callingwood Market Hayrides – December 9th & 16th 
Get your picture taken with Santa (fee applies), decorate cookies, color, enjoy some tasty hot chocolate and hop on the horse-drawn hayride. Bring gently used or new kids & adult outerwear to donate to Coats for Kids
