Spend some time floating down the river with your family (kids must be 4+) starting off at Voyager Park and ending at Devon Lions Campground. Shuttle to and from is included as well as life jackets, tubes, and tether for the kid’s tubes!

Discovery Canyon – Red Deer, Alberta
Bring your tubes and a picnic and spend the day tubing down discovery canyon! There is a small area to wade at the bottom and the water is never deeper than 18″ on an inflatable tube.  Picnic tables/green space is located throughout. Get there early to get a good spot!

Jump from a 15-foot tower, climb the 15-foot overhang wall, jump on the oversized trampoline, a huge launch bag plus MANY other obstacles in the middle of Sylvan Lake! This is for kids 6yrs and older, and children must be at least 3’6 to participate.
Hours: 11am-8pm daily
Cost: Prices start at $12.50-$17.50/ person for an hour and a family pass for 2 adults and 2 kids are $52 for an hour.

Grab your coolers and plan to spend the day at Sylvan Lake Beach located right in Sylvan Lake. It’s a favourite for many, and while you’re there don’t forget to stop for some ice cream at The Big Moo!

Bring your tubes and slide down the river slides. There is tons of green space throughout the park, as well as washrooms. There is also a spray park and an amazing playground to explore too! While there are no places to rent tubes, there are several stores close by where you can purchase them.

This outdoor area features a children’s’ water park with a slide, giant tipping buckets and lots of spray features. There is also a pool with a tots area and 2 waterslides, a 10-foot rock wall, and hot tub!

Ebling Beach – Aspen Beach Provincial Park 
One of the best things about this beach is that it doesn’t get deep for a long way, making it the perfect place for younger kids to splash around. Kids can also play at the playground on the beach and as well as a cash-only concession that offers hot dogs, hamburgers, ice cream and more.

Suggested for kids 5 and over you can spend the afternoon floating down the Pembina River. Shuttles, tube rentals, and life jackets are available for rent.
