Camping At Dutch Lake Resort & RV Park In Clearwater, B.C.

Dutch Lake Resort

Every year when we drive to Kelowna we stop halfway to spend the night and break up the trip. For the last two years, we have camped in Clearwater, B.C. and the last place that we camped at Dutch Lake Resort & RV Park.

Featuring 9 lakeside cabins and 65 RV/campsites which are mere minutes away from the water the campsites themselves are pretty close together with only a few that have trees in between them. This, however, isn’t something that we require when camping in B.C. during the summer because we’re never sitting outside around the fire (due to fire bans).

Dutch Lake is the lake that the resort sits on and there is a dock for you to enjoy the beauty of the Lake and the lily pads the float by the lakeside. You can also jump off the dock and swim to another floating doc in the middle of the lake or even rent a canoe or bring your own paddle boat to explore.

Dutch Lake Beach Park is also a few minutes drive away which has a small beach area.

There is also an onsite restaurant called The Painted Turtle that is open seasonally from April – November. As a non-traditional camping restaurant with high quality, freshly prepared food options they offer serve breakfast and dinner and also have a kids menu for $10.

Partial and full-service hookup are available ranging from $44-$48/night depending on what you need and shower and flush toilet facilities are on site too. To book a site or to learn more about Dutch Lake Resort & RV Park visit www.dutchlake.com
