We spent May long weekend camping at Riverbend Campground, which is located just outside of Okotoks, AB.
Both tent and RV sites are available to book and range from $30-$50/night with options for both 30- & 50-Amp Service as well as Power & Water. Sites can also be for the week with rates ranging from $180-$330/week. Riverbend Campground also offers spots that can be booked for longer with options for 1-2 months, and 3 months or more.
As a family-friendly campground, there are many things to do which include
- 3 playgrounds
- Walking trails to explore
- A river close by which is to skip rocks,
- A man-made lake with paddle boats to rent
- Small mini-golf
Throughout the campsite, there are porta-potties for you to use as well as two bathrooms with flush toilets and showers for $1. There is also a small store on site that sells basic convenience items, snacks, candy, and cold drinks.
If you’re looking to venture out of the campground the town of Okotoks is within a 15-minute drive and has all of the amenities that you may need including a Costco and movie theatre. Close by is also Kayben farms as well as Granary Road.
