Review: Camping At Hinton/Jasper KOA

Recently we spent the weekend camping at the Hinton/Jasper KOA with my extended family.

Camping At Hinton/Jasper KOA

Located just under 15 minutes from Hinton and under an hour from the town of Jasper this was a great place for our extended family camping trip.

The options for staying at the Hinton/Jasper KOA include tenting sites, RV sites, as well as cabins with occupancy options for up to 6 people. All of my family are RV/trailer campers for we stayed in the RV area.

Like many large RV areas, the sites are pull-through ones with a little bit of space for your picnic table and some green space. There are however no fire pits at any of the campsites, but rather a large cookhouse/fire pit on a first come first serve basis.

What We Loved

What We Didn’t Love

All in all our experience that the Hinton/Jasper KOA was pretty decent! We spent all 3 nights around the fire, playing card games and enjoying a few bevies!

Pricing

If you have a KOA membership you save on campsite fees at all KOA campgrounds. We are not members so the cost for us was around $60/night. This was based on how many people we had in our trailer, our 2 dogs, and also the size of the site that we needed.
