Candy Cane Lane Opens Dec 12th – The First Night Is Car-Free

Candy Cane Lane has been a family tradition for me for as long as I can remember. I can always picture the corner house with the Disney decorations from my childhood (my favourite house to visit which is now no longer has that theme) and of course the iconic cut-out wooden/hand-painted snowman.

Candy Cane Lane Is Hosting Is First-Ever Walking Only Night

This year Candy Cane Lane opens on Dec 12th and they have partnered with Paths for People to make opening night 100% car-free! Whether you’re walking, biking, pulling sleds, or even cross country skiing you can do it all while you take in the beautiful sights that are Candy Cane Lane!

To help with the night Park-n-Ride will also be available! Stay tuned for details.

Other Things To Keep In Mind

Don’t Forget Edmonton Food Bank Donations

There will be donation boxes all around Candy Cane Lane and you can drop them off there. See which items they need most here!

Bring Your Letters To Santa

Every year Canada Post has a mailbox or two for you to drop off your letters to Santa! Make sure you address them to:

Santa Claus

And don’t forget your return address!!

There Will Be Sleigh Rides!

Tickets for Sleigh Rides on Candy Cane Lane will be available on Nov 23rd! The best part is that while Candy Cane Lane is car-free for the first night there will still be sleigh rides! The for one passenger is $17 plus service charge, except for infants under 24 months sitting on a lap that is free.
