Review: Crafting Subscription Boxes from MyFUNvelope

I love that there are so many options for subscription boxes and MyFUNvelope is a new Canadian based subscription box that offers craft and STEM activities.

Perfect for kids ages 3-9 (although other ages may love it too!) one of the first things that I immediately loved was that many of the activities coming in this subscription box require scissors and/or markers.

No panic needed (especially if you have a household like me where markers and scissors seem to vanish into thin air…and don’t even get me started on tweezers…WHERE DO THEY GOOOO?!) because a pencil case that can be decorated along with scissors and markers are included. Keep this one close because you’ll need it when your MyFUNvelope activities come every month!

What’s Included In MyFUNvelope?

Every month you will receive 4 unique and fun (prepackaged) craft activities and one STEM activity. I should mention that instructions are also available in both French and English. Each month brings a new theme that your kids will love.

For the month that we received the theme was Monsters and it included items to make the following

Monster Door Hanger
Monster Mask – with the markers!
Make a Monster – which included stickers and paper monster outline
Foam Monster – with foam stickers included
Playdoh Monstersm- with playdoh and all the pieces to create your monster

Other activities included were also a learn to drawcard and a printed activity sheet!

The Pricing

The cost to order depends on if you are subscribing on a monthly basis all the way up to a year!

The Verdict

I think that each type of subscription box appeals to different kids. Sophie who is a crafting QUEEN was all over this one and is already asking for more. And Finn, he is so into monsters these days and this was perfect for him. If you’re looking for a subscription box that harnesses your child’s creative side, this is a good one!

Looking for ideas for Christmas? Here’s a list of Subscription Boxes that your kids will love.

This post was created in partnership with MyFUNvelope where a subscription box was provided to me in exchange for a review. All options are my own!
