It’s time to hit the ice and take advantage of the FREE drop-in learn to skate programs taking place all across Edmonton.
Where To Find Drop-In Learn to Skate Programs
The Learn to Skate Programs go from January 6th-February 16th and there are options to skate 7-days a week across Edmonton with 36 different locations. Everyone is welcome to attend however the program is geared towards children 6-12 years old and their families.

While participating in the Learn to Skate programs you will have the opportunity to learn about basic skating skills, movement, and play games to help enhance your speed, agility, and control.
Important Details To Keep In Mind
- You will need to bring your own skates as well as a CSA approved helmet as they are not provided.
- Programs will be cancelled at -23 degrees Celsius with the wind-chill, or if the ice is closed by the facility.
- Dress in layers so that if you get warm while skating you can peel a layer off while still keeping warm!
