LCDS Preschool & Kindergarten

LCDS Preschool and Kindergarten is a nondenominational licensed program that offers a unique early learning program that combines preschool, junior, and kindergarten in a combined class.
A “Learning through play” program philosophy is practiced in a language-rich and fun environment. Children aged 3, 4 and 5 attend together in the same classroom where they are introduced to a structured daily routine balanced with learning and play. The program focuses on age-appropriate development of the child’s language, vocabulary, social, emotional, physical and intellectual growth and development. Kindergarten curriculum concepts are introduced at a young age to encourage Kindergarten readiness. A love of learning is fostered through planned activities, free play, daily projects, monthly themes, circle time and special events. Parent involvement plays a crucial role in the program’s success; families volunteer to assist in the classroom with fundraising and the program’s operations.

Kepler Academy Early Learning & Care

Kepler Academy’s Navigators program is ideal for preschool and pre-kindergarten-aged children, who are advancing and exploring their world with a keen sense of direction. They are purposeful and action-oriented, not stopping until they achieve their goals. At Kepler Academy, we believe that preschool children are full of possibilities and potential. Navigators follow our Exploratory Education approach, building on vital skills from our 8 pillars of early learning and development. This prepares children to advance into kindergarten with confidence, as they’ve benefited from hands-on learning, independent play and an emergent curriculum delivered in a structured environment.

Our Navigators program is available year-round and is perfect for a variety of families. Our centres typically have a younger Navigator group, with toddlers nearing 3 years of age and ready for preschool, and an older one, with children nearing 4-5 years, that is transition to kinder-care or kindergarten.

Our centres offer childcare hours with an educational curriculum built-in. Parents can select 2, 3, or 5-day schedules, based on availability. Our hours of operations are 6:30 am – 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday, to allow for greater flexibility for families. Core preschool programming runs between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm, with all snacks and lunch included with the tuition.

The Fiddle Leaf Learning Co.

We offer a one-day-a-week program (Junior) and a two-day-a-week program (Mighty), everything is done in the comfort of one’s home at the pace that works for them. We utilize videos (story, questions about the story, and explanation of the activities for that lesson) that correspond with the materials in the box. All of our students are invited to bi-monthly Zoom sessions that focus on physical literacy/movement and give students a chance to see/interact with each other. I also offer monthly 1:1 zoom sessions for each student and am available more if necessary. To be inclusive of all faiths, we do not celebrate or observe holidays or special days within our program materials. I do post videos that support these holidays/special days on my YouTube channel for anyone to watch as this wish. The program is for children age three to six.

Virtual Open House
When: Saturday, May 1st
Time: 10:00am
While Fiddle Leaf Learning Co is based out of Spruce Grove, all the programs take place in the student’s home and all materials will be mailed to them monthly.
