Summer Camp registration is now open at Camp Warwa!
When I was younger one of my favourite memories from summer vacation was the couple of weeks that I spent going away to summer camp. This year my oldest will be going to sleepaway camp for the first time and I could not be more excited for him.
Adventure Awaits At Camp Warwa
Camp Warwa offers overnight summer camps to kids in grades K-9 at their property alongside Lac Sainte Anne. This year they are offering 8 different sessions (weeks) for you to choose from.

While at summer camp kids can expect a variety of fun and engaging outdoor activities that take place across the 23 acres of property. Each day will include a variety of fun and engaging activities that will give them the opportunity to experience nature, build confidence, and make new friends. Some of the summer camp activities include:
- Canoeing
- Archery
- Ropes course
- Outdoor group games (like Gaga & capture the flag)
- Arts & Crafts
*some activities are age-based
One of the exciting additions to Camp Warwa this year is their new dining hall. With the ability to serve 10,000 children each year, this important addition will help children to connect and gather while enjoying their camp experience.
Other Important Details
Camp Warwa takes the safety of its campers and staff very seriously. Along with following guidelines from Alberta Health Services, they have also implemented enhanced COVID procedures which include reducing camper capacity to 50%.
Prior to camp, all families will receive a Covid Packet which will outline all rules and safety measures. You can also read more about their COVID procedures here.
