Dirty Dancing
Do you remember the first time that you saw the movie Dirty Dancing? I was 5 years old! My mom had a friend over and they had rented the movie. I snuck watching it from around the corner when I was supposed to be in bed. At that age I was completely enamoured with the dancing and the music. At 32 I still watch it on a regular basis and it never gets old! The songs from the movie still grace my burnt cd’s! (yes cd’s)
The production of Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story on Stage is coming to Edmonton this January 2016! It will include all of the songs from the iconic movie plus more, sung live with a band. You will definitely be chair dancing the mambo!
You will watch Baby where she awkwardly says “I carried a watermelon” all the way to her performing the last dance of the season with Johnny where she finally conquers the lift – Goosebumps guys! I am getting goosebumps!

I actually LOVE the entire soundtrack….the movie is my favorite of all time, but if I had to pick, It would be “She’s like the Wind” by the talented, beautiful and missed Patrick Swayze!
I think I appreciate the song more now that Patrick Swayze has passed! I also love the whole Soundtrack too!

Ahh yes that is one of my most favourite scenes in the movie!!
I love the entire soundtrack but if i have to choose my favourite song from Dirty Dancing is she’s like the wind it’s truly beautiful I can listen to it on replay several times a day.

My favourite song from Dirty Dancing is Time of My Life. I’ve watched the movie so many times!! One of my husband’s distant cousins was an extra in the film (as a dancer).
