Movies on the Square
If you’re looking for something FREE to do on Tuesday nights in August put Movies on the Square on your calendar.
Movies on the Square line-up
Taking place the first 4 Tuesdays of the month at Churchill Square, Movies on the Square starts on August 2nd. Movies for the four weeks are:
- August 2nd- Star Wars: The Force Awakens
- August 9th-Angry Birds
- August 16th- Zootopia
- August 23rd- Kung Fu Panda 3
Each night the pre-movie entertainment start at 7:00pm and movies will start at dusk. To get your optimum spot – go early to make sure you are set up in prime seating as spots are first come first serve. Movies will be shown on a 3-storey high movie screen.
Not sure how to get there or where to go?
Churchill Square is located behind City Hall (1 Sir Winston Churchill Square). If you are driving the cheapest place to park is in the City Hall Parkade which is $1/hr to park. You can also park and ride from Kingsway Mall and other ETS locations. (ETS rates apply)
So grab your lawn chairs, blankets (just in case it gets a little chilly), and don’t forget the snacks!
