On Saturday, October 8th explore the Fire Prevention Week Open house at one of these 3 fire stations in Edmonton.
This year’s Fire Prevention Week theme is “Don’t Wait Check the Date” which encourages all Edmontonians to replace smoke alarms every 10 years.
From 12pm-4pm you can participate in a variety of activities, meet the firefighters and fire prevention officers that work in your community, and out what the recommendations are for having fire alarms in the home.
Activities offered for the day are:
- Tours of the fire hall
- Learning about fire safety and all the services Edmonton Fire Rescue Services provides
- Climb and explore the fire trucks
- Enjoy refreshments provided by Safeway
