Where to take your own Back to School Photos around Edmonton

Whether the Back to School photos that your child’s school offers are too expensive, just don’t meet your taste, or whatever the reasons taking your own photos can be quite easy.

Find the bike path and follow it down the hill and you will find quite a few great places to take photos.

Behind Old Strathcona Market – Edmonton
Has some cool features like old train tracks and a graffiti background.

Alexander Circle – Edmonton
Nothing says back to school photos with a background of a large beautiful fountain

Irene Parlby Park – Edmonton
Brick pillars, greenery, and park benches all make for a great back to school backdrop.

Olde Back Roads – Outside Stony Plain
A hidden gem that you definitely want to check out and not just for back to school either! Whether you plan to take your own pictures or bringing along a photographer they provide one of a kind backgrounds and photo props for all of your photos.

Woodbridge Farms – Sherwood Park
Take your pictures in the covered bridge, in the beautiful greenery, or by the lake. All would make for some awesome photos.

Built in the 1920’s the brick exterior is the perfect backdrop for back to school photos

This location features so many options for photos. One of my favourite parts about this location is the wooden trellis and the pond. There are also paths that you can follow, the small bridge and more.
