Winter Break will soon be here! If you’re not registering the kids for a Winter Break Camp, here are some ideas on things to do with the kids around Edmonton during that time!

Get in on $5 and 3 for $20 (deal depends on day) Lazer Tag Games at Laser City 

Grab tickets to see Shumka’s Nutcracker “Clara’s Dream” on Dec 29th & 30th

Take a stroll under the stars! Experience magic as you walk through the Temperate Pyramid surrounded by nature at the Muttart.

Watch your favourite Christmas Specials, Movies, and Marathons all December on YTV

Visit your favorite Pixar characters at The Science Before Pixar Exhibition at Telus World of Science (last day is Jan 7th)

Pack some hot chocolate, get your winter gear on, grab your toboggans and head to one of these 11 family-friendly toboggan hills.

Grab your skates and check out one of the many skating rinks around Edmonton

Check out the new Indoor Playground A Bit Extreme in St.Albert

Take advantage of the last couple of weeks of free admission to Canada Parks and visit Elk Island Park (you can also save 20% on 2018 passes until December 31st)

Go out for dinner at one of these restaurants where kids eat free

Plan a night to see some of Edmonton & area Christmas light displays! Most are open until New Years

Participate in games, Lego activities and more at your local Edmonton Public Library all Winter Break

Pack some wood and roasting sticks and roast marshmallows at one of the City of Edmonton picnic sites

Grab coffee or hot chocolate at the Cat Cafe on Whyte with the kids Sundays 9am-10am (the only time kid under 10 can go into the Cat Cafe)
