When Disney on Ice came to Edmonton in Dec 2016 for the first time, I was pretty excited to go and see it with the kids. Afterall it had been ages since I had been at a rink to watch something other than hockey.
When it was announced that Disney on Ice was coming back to Edmonton for the second year it was pure excitement because the show that the kids saw last year created such fond memories for them.
We’ve been working really hard at having those memorable experiences as a family instead of just having stuff (so much stuff), which is what Disney on Ice: Follow Your Heart did for us again last night (and this time Finn was part of it too!)
I asked the kids what their favourite performances were they each said this:
- Carter – The seven dwarfs were pretty cool and I loved Olaf from Frozen
- Sophie – The flying princesses, singing “Let it Go”, when all of the princesses came out together, and Hammy from Toy Story
- Finn – Olaf and the lights!
I’d have to say I would agree, although my favourite moment by far was when everyone was singing “Let it Go”. Shivers!
