I may have been born in the 80’s but the 90’s was when I was in Jr.High and High School, which is where many of us start to develop our independence in music choices.
I definitely had an eclectic music taste, I did however go to Victoria School of Performing Arts, where unlike many other schools the lines of the cliques were blurred and the music choices had no boundaries. That’s not to say that I didn’t have my favourite bands – and pop bands (I aspired to marry Nick Carter for a few years).
This is why I am so excited to hear about the Soundtrack Music Festival that will be taking place in Edmonton on Saturday June 23rd. As a fundraiser put on by Kinsmen Club of Edmonton, headliners include TLC, Goo Goo Dolls, Blind Melon, MA$E and Eve 6 with Master T (MuchMusic VJ) as the master of ceremonies! You can also check out Wannabe, a Spice Girls Tribute band as well as Notorious YEG.
